We knew that we would eventually fall out of the FA Cup.

But it still hurts.

The thing is, though, that I don’t think Celta actually outplayed us. I think we could have won with a few tactical tweaks here and there.

I think my biggest frustration comes at being called an “easy opponent:”

Sadly, I probably won’t encounter Rafa Benitez for a few seasons at least. But I really want to make him eat his words someday.

Anyway, we came close to scoring at the beginning of this but didn’t. We wound up losing 3-0 instead.

I suppose we should feel happy with our progress in the FA Cup.

Still — it feels empty to me.

I’d feel better if we were doing better in the league; that’s for sure.

Let’s see what we can do to turn things around.
