What To Play While You Wait

As we continue to wait impatiently for Football Manager 25, we need to figure out something to do to keep ourselves interested in the franchise.

Aside from playing older games, here are a few editor data files that might be interesting to try out:

The World Equalizer Databases. A crazy person on the official forums created a group of databases that eliminates everything: all money, all stadiums, all players, everything. You can see what happens in the game if the game engine is left solely to its own devices.

FIFA Rebooted. Want to fix the World Cup and get rid of useless expansion? Try this one out!

And here are two database edits to look for in the future… I hope…

Ultimate Legends and Stars. This has apparently been in the works for almost a full year. I’m hoping that we see a release before FM25 is finally released.

Iron Curtain 1988. Wolf_pd was certainly in over his head with this extremely ambitious retro database. It’s been in the works for over 3 years now, and I’m not sure how close he is to finally releasing it. Again, I’m hoping for a release before FM25 comes out, though I’m not sure.
