Unusual Countries To Manage In
Since we’re going to wait for quite some time before Football Manager 2025 to come out, we might as well look at some interesting and unusual projects we can play through.
The base game provides a number of interesting countries to manage in. However, those of us who want to play in more exotic places will need to download an editor data file.
I strongly recommend the editor data files created by MasterIgor. You can download them here for free.
Here are a few countries you might want to check out:
Fiji. Fijian teams have never won the OFC Champions League, even though the nation ranks third in OFC national rankings. Ba FA is the most successful club to date in Fiji.
Syria. Syria is one of those nations that Football Manager players often ignore. It’s a good source of cheap wonderkids for European saves, provided that you can get them visas, of course. It also provides an interesting challenge, since Syrian teams have never won the AFC Champions League. Al-Karamah SC, founded way back in 1928 and one of the oldest Asian teams, is the best club in the country.
Vietnam. Vietnam is one of those developing football nations, one that has only recently been allocated spots in the AFC Champions League. The Cong-Viettel FC is the most successful team in the country.
Mali. Though an extremely poor country, Mali has been competitive in the CAF Champions League in the past. However, no team from Mali has ever won the title. Stade Malien is arguably the best club in Mali.
