The Underdog

I love a good underdog story.

Kim Sang-won came into our club as the third string right wingback. I bought him on a free transfer because we desperately needed depth at the position.

The fans didn’t think much of the signing:

And he sure came through for us.

Gamba Osaka are a better team than we are. But it was Kim Sang-won’s aggressive offensive style and accuracy from range that put us over the top.

Now we just need to see if he can keep it up.
