The New Save
First of all, if you haven’t explored it yet, you really need to visit FMTweak. We’ve come up with a massive improvement to Football Manager’s match engine that changes the game.
To celebrate this, I decided on a new save. As usual, I decided to use DarthFurion’s excellent World Super League add-on. I don’t think I can play any other way.
However, playing with the same old European teams isn’t fun. And so I decided to “import” my own team: the North Korean side Rimyongsu.
It wasn’t hard to do, actually. I edited DarthFurion’s file, chose one of the least reputable teams in the world, and replaced everything with Rimyongsu’s data. I chose this method instead of deleting and adding a team because I didn’t want to mess up the league structure, and because I wanted to save some time.
There are a few glitches. The most glaring is that I accidentally neglected to move our stadium to North Korea. We’re playing in Berlin for the time being, though the owner told me at the start of our second season that we’re going to move back to North Korea soon.
Perhaps it will be close to the famous Rimyongsu Waterfall:
Anyway, look for more updates from this save soon. It’s going to be easy, that’s for sure.
