The LA Bowl

Well, we’ve had our bowl game. We won it. But I’m still not impressed.

We beat Texas Tech easily, winning 2-0 in front of a stadium that wasn’t even half full. I’m not certain why we even played in this thing.

As I said yesterday, I know that the idea is to simulate the U.S. college football bowl experience. Except it wasn’t even close.

This was just another pointless “championship game” to allow us to add to our trophy collection. That was it. We won the trophy by winning the game.

Daryl Daley was the star for us, coming up with 1 assist and an 8.30 rating. I guess he did a fairly good job.

Still, it’s not like Texas Tech is an excellent team or anything.

The Season Resumes

After winning the championship, we’re back to the regular season.

I mean, the media preview for this match even calls us “Mountain West winners.” I don’t understand the logic here at all.

But whatever. We’ll beat Oregon State again, no problem.
