Starting A Bidding War For Your Player

Selling players in Football Manager is never easy.

• Most of the time, the other teams won’t bid.

• Other teams will underbid if it’s clear that you’re desperate to sell.

• Some players will get upset with you if you try to sell them.

However, sometimes you get lucky. Sometimes multiple clubs will bid on your player as soon as you offer him out.

Here’s what you can do:

• Accept only the highest offer, or offers. Reject (not negotiate) all the other offers.

• Offer the player back out for one tick above the highest offer.

• Accept offers that come back at the player’s new price.

• Offer the player back out one tick higher.

• Repeat until only one team remains.

With this trick, you can sometimes more than double the original amount offered for your player.
