We should have dominated this match. As it turns out, we barely squeaked by with a 1-0 victory.
We dominated every statistical category, including racking up an xG of almost 6 and controlling almost 75% of the possession. However, Cesar Aldana could only manage a single goal, and we were frustrated for the rest of the match.
The highlight was probably Daryl Daley making passes, or something like that. He had 0 assists and 6 “key passes,” good enough to help us almost score. I guess that was a good thing.
We won. We’re still in first place. That’s all that matters.
