Our Stadium Is Too Small
As you can see in the video above, we were successful once again, getting Hallam promoted for the 4th season in a row.
And our stadium is still incredibly small.
We started this season with the promise of an expanded stadium before us.
The problem, of course, is that 2,000 seats is nowhere near enough for the kind of fanbase we have.
We spent this season at a 6,000 seat stadium in Manchester - and we came close to selling out every match.
When our stadium expansion was finally complete, the result was still too small for us.
I asked the board to expand the stadium again — and my wish was granted right away.
Then, at the end of the season, the board decided to go through yet another expansion process:
Even still, I doubt the 5,000 seats or so we’ll have will be anywhere close to enough.
This creates a difficult Football Manager problem, by the way. It’s obvious that we’re going to need a new stadium. However, if we build one too quickly the new stadium will be too small by the time we move in — and we’ll be stuck with it.
Sometimes you don’t want to be promoted too quickly, I suppose.
