Our Defending Nightmare
We’ve got a problem.
It’s called defense.
Our first team is good at defending — but we can’t seem to get anybody else who knows what they’re doing.
We should have dominated ENPPI in this match. Instead, we came away with a 2-2 draw, which was really disappointing.
Both goals we conceded came straight off of set pieces. Interestingly enough, both goals we scored also came from set pieces.
It’s a frustrating part of a season that has otherwise been brilliant.
I’ve signed a number of free agents to bolster our defenses, though I’m afraid none of them are good enough for a permanent spot at the club.
It’s going to be a long, uphill climb from here.
