Since we’ve got a few months before Football Manager 2025 finally arrives, I thought it would be interesting to take a look at original newspaper coverage of its predecessors.
This brief excerpt comes from Evening Post in Nottingham. Note, by the way, the statement that the game had been in development for seven years before it was finally released. Suddenly a few months of waiting doesn’t seem so bad.
This review is a bit longer, and a tad more detailed. I’m not certain how true the “several matches can take hours” statement is, but the rest of the review is quite positive and interesting.
Unfortunately, these are the only two I’ve been able to locate so far. I’ll update with more once I locate them.
