Well, we no longer have to worry about being undefeated — or worry that this tactic is overpowered.
Alabama took care of all of that for us.
It was a strange match. If you look at xG, we led all the way and should have won easily.
However, in terms of match momentum, we looked simply awful.
And, honestly, you shouldn’t let these numbers surprise you too much. We really didn’t have much of a scoring opportunity all game long.
I think our xG was high because we simply ran the ball down the pitch once we got it. None of our scoring opportunities were even remotely close.
At least we no longer have to worry about a perfect season.
Media Pressure
The media is still hyping our team up, unfortunately.
This isn’t anything to be really worried about. It’s just that Darren Silvas is the 6th highest choice for top player odds in our conference, that’s all.
I think he’ll do well, though I also think this may be asking a bit too much of him.
Another Weak Opponent
We’re going back home to play Central Arkansas this time.
