My Worst Ever Season
I knew we were in for a long season when I looked at the title odds at the start of my Rimyongsu save:
I’ve been in difficult positions before, of course — but this was a bit over the top.
1000 to 1 odds on winning the title does not exactly instill confidence in me. You see, the difference in this save is that I haven’t done anything to improve Rimyongsu’s youth setup at the start of the save. This is different than my tactic with Hallam was in that Youth Academy Challenge save. I wanted to skip ahead to the good part in that instance, and so I gave myself an unfair advantage.
I didn’t think it would be too bad. Boy, was I wrong.
The worst loss I’ve ever had in my Football Manager career came against the Aduana Stars:
I’ve never seen anything quite like it. 11-0 in a single match.
We were able to win a few games here and there as the season progressed, but it wasn’t much. By the end of the year, we were lucky to finish in 23rd:
I know that things will improve as we get money into the club and start making improvements. Still, 23 points in 46 matches is pathetic, and a goal differential of -146 is insane.
Have you ever had a worse season?
