Frustrated By The Youth Academy Challenge

We’ve completed a third season — and it was a doozy.

We went on a major cup run this time around, pushing up to the quarter finals of the FA Cup.

Of course, we wound up facing Manchester City, of all teams.

We lost, of course — but it was close.

Meanwhile, we were able to win the Super League 3 Cup, which was a complete surprise:

You’d think it would all be good, but we managed to completely collapse in the league at the same time. We needed only a single win in our last 4 matches to win the league — and drawing 3 of the last 4 would have given it to us as well. But this happened:

And so we wound up finishing second:

If this teaches me nothing else, it confirms to me that this tactic is indeed overpowered:

We’ve been promoted for 3 seasons straight. Now we’ll see just how high we can go with Hallam.
