Domination
It feels like it’s been a while since I’ve had a Football Manager match that went this well.
It just seemed easy. Colorado State didn’t stand a chance. Aldana had two powerful goals, Son Hyun-Taek scored his first for us, and Alpha Doe scored on another corner.
Evan Boden, who I thought wasn’t good enough for this squad, wound up with the Player of the Match award. Everybody played well. It was like playing against a team that wasn’t there.
And that’s really all I can say about this match. It was a route, from start to end.
Rivalry
Tomorrow’s game is going to be different.
BYU and Utah State actually have a rivalry, unlike that San Diego State match. We’re going to be missing Daryl Daley, Alpha Doe, and Darren Silvas, three of our key players. This might not go so well.
Everybody expects a win. On paper, we should win. In truth, though, I think this is going to be a lot closer than that.
