Can A Good Team Win With A Bad Tactic?

I performed a quick experiment the other day.

In the wake of my failed Hallam save, I started messing with the pre-game editor a month or two ago. I turned New York FC into a super team, giving them some of the best players of all time (thanks to the legends database). This was all for a project that I later abandoned.

I thought it might be interesting to see if a team filled with legends could beat teams worse than it while using a poor tactic. I’ve been assured that tactics aren’t extremely important, and that player attributes matter more.

What I discovered shocked me.
