Another Takeover
We’ve experienced 2 takeovers in the space of 4 months.
I’m not kidding. This is one of the strangest things I’ve ever experienced in Football Manager.
You might recall this post from a couple of weeks ago:

Takeover? Never in my wildest dreams did I think that a penniless amateur club in American Samoa would be the subject of takeover rumors.
Well, that one turned into an actual takeover, as you can see here:
Now, this takeover was one of the reasons why I was tempted to leave for Vanuatu. I figured that it made sense within the internal logic of the save itself. I needed to move on, we were doomed to finish in second place anyway, and the club just changed ownership: perfect timing.
I decided to stay, however — only to be faced with another takeover:
We didn’t get any money out of this, sadly. All we got was a very short transfer embargo that was meaningless (it’s not currently transfer season).
I don’t get it. What’s so attractive about an amateur club in American Samoa?
