A More Favorab Championship Manager Review
We saw yesterday how much Amiga Power disliked Championship Manager. However, other Amiga magazines had a more favorable view of the game.
Check this out from issue 34 of Amiga Action, from July 1992:
Now, the first game was pretty primitive by modern standards. You could only manage in England, there was little to no player interaction outside transfers and tactics, and it was basically a big spreadsheet simulator. You could change jobs, however, which means that the RPG elements that have always made the series so popular were there from the start.
I guess it wasn’t a game for everybody.
