10 Men? No Problem!
We won this game arrogantly.
Son Hyun-Taek, one of our defensive midfielders, was sent off after receiving 2 yellow cards in the first 23 minutes. Actually, his first yellow card came in the 21st minute, which shows just how aggressively he was playing. After missing the start of a season with an injury, he now has the pleasure of missing at least two more matches with a suspension.
We still won, though, 4-0. It was an ugly match, and Aldana played horribly, but we pulled it off in the end.
Kent State is pretty bad.
More Introductions
I’m still trying to think of a better way to handle squad introductions than this. I might play around a little bit with a few ideas once I get a more permanent save project started.
Until then, let me introduce you to Chris Gallagher, one of our centerbacks. He comes from West Valley City, just like Matt Williams. I wonder if they attended the same high school.
Gallagher is 24 years old and is a fairly good player.
Seriously, Gallagher is the sort of player I’d play no matter what save rules I’m playing under.
Next is Son Hyun-Taek, the man who received the red card.
Son Hyun-Taek hails from Nonsan (논산) in South Korea. It’s not quite as much fun as having a star North Korean on your squad, but it will do for now.
Son Hyun-Taek is 23 years old and is listed a fringe player. He’s good enough to start for us, but needs to figure out how to stay on the pitch.
I agree with that “competitive streak” bit. He sure showed that today.
Arkansas State
We’re back home, this time to take on Arkansas State.
We should be able to win this one easily.
